The San/Bushmen call it Gariep, others call it the Orange - all 2250 km of wet snake slithering to the sea. Our trip twists and turns 55 km of one of Africa's longest rivers and goes through Richtersveld, one of South Africa's most spectacular and remote areas.

You are in good hands with our experienced and professional APA River Guides. Having the backing of a top rate crew, you can relax and be sure all is well.

We provide three 5-star safari-style meals to suit and cater for all. Specific diets should be mentioned early in advance but vegetarians worry not as there is ample delicious vegetarian food provided.


Equipment
We Provide:
  • All river rafting gear which includes 2-man rafts, paddles, life-jackets, safety and rescue gear, medical kit, dry bags/barrels for packing personal items and cooking utensils.
You Bring:
  • Yourself to and from base camp. Day one starts at 17h00 at Wildthing Base Camp, 18km from border post.
  • Passports. Essential for leaving and entering the South Africa and Namibia.

Deposit of R500 required.
