Sunrise/Sunset Cape Town – Half Day Cycle

This fun-filled half day cycling excursion is the ideal way to experience the beautiful Cape Peninsula and the culture and heritage of Cape Town.

Start at V&A Waterfront

We leave the much-celebrated V&A Waterfront, riding through the historic harbour and alongside the Atlantic Ocean as the sea breeze fills the air.

We visit the legendary Cape Town Stadium and the Green Point Urban Park as well as the oldest working lighthouse in the country at Moullie Point.

Cycle Atlantic Beaches

Our journey continues along the Sea Point Promenade, with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean.

We ride through Bantry Bay and stop at Darwin’s Rocks, where the famous explorer himself stopped in the HMS Beagle.

Then we make our way past Clifton and its four attractive beaches and onto Maidens Cove, where we take in the magnificent views of the Twelve Apostles Mountain Range and Camps Bay Beach.

We then follow the bustling Camps Bay promenade and silky, white sand beach, where the beautiful folk of Cape Town come to play.

Finally we return via High Level Road with its magnificent views over the ocean, cycling beneath the mighty Lion’s Head and Signal Hill, making our way back into the city.

Visit Cape Town CBD

Then we meander through the delightful De Waterkant Village, the pink heart of the city and explore the Company Gardens, initially established as a trading stopover by the Dutch.

We then take in the bars and cafes on Long Street, heart of the city’s nightlife and climb up into the historic Malay quarter of the Bo-Kaap (Upper Cape), home to Cape Town’s Moslem community, with its colourful houses, cobbled streets and historic mosques.

We slowly return to the Waterfront Marina for refreshments complimented by gourmet canapés alongside the water.
